Sales & Technical Marketing Specialist
Location: Port Huron, MI

Position Summary:
Michigan Metal Coatings Co seeks a Sales & Technical Marketing Specialist in Port Huron, MI. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Duties:
- Responsible for handling key customer accounts and supporting marketing efforts in the automotive and metal finishing industries.
- Coordinate technical sales activities and ensure alignment between U.S. operations and Japanese business practices.
- Support the development and execution of sales and marketing plans for metal finishing and coating services targeting automotive OEM and Tier 1 customers.
- Drive customer communications, quoting, and order tracking to maintain and grow existing accounts.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prepare technical proposals and meet customer specifications.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and evolving customer needs.
- Track sales metrics, create marketing content, and participate in trade shows and presentations.
- Serve as a liaison, facilitating communication between U.S. and Japanese stakeholders.
- While the role is highly specialized and customer-facing, it does not involve budgetary responsibilities or staff supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or foreign equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in sales and/or marketing specialist or manager positions, or related roles
- Understanding of Japanese business culture and language preferred
